Workshops - Forward From Here

Workshops and Programmes

Important conversations, decisions and changes rarely stall because people don't know what to do, often something is getting in the way that nobody's quite named yet.

The leadership team that agrees on the direction but somehow never quite moves on it.

The manager who keeps meaning to have that conversation and keeps finding a reason not to.

The change initiative that launched with genuine enthusiasm and quietly lost momentum somewhere between the away day and actual reality.

My workshops and programmes help leaders, managers, teams and founders understand what's getting in the way, and create the conditions for something to actually shift.

Grounded in solution-focused practice and The Ministry of Not Yet framework, the focus is always on movement rather than just awareness.

Because insight is useful, but movement is better.

Meet Your Ministry (90 Minutes Workshop)

We all have an internal cast of characters that show up when something important is about to happen.

The one who needs one more revision before anything goes out. The one who keeps rescheduling the uncomfortable conversation. The one who genuinely means to delegate but somehow keeps doing it themselves.

They're not villains. They started as protection. But sometimes they end up running the show.

Meet Your Ministry is an interactive 90-minute workshop where people arrive with a real move they've been putting off, and leave having worked out what's actually getting in the way and what they need to move forward.

Rather than me talking at people for an hour and a half, participants work with the Ministry framework to self-diagnose in real time. We look at who's showing up, what they're protecting, and what it would take to move from stuck to forward.

We also look at what happens if your Ministry member's worst fears are realised, because the goal isn't just to plan for the best case. It's to feel confident enough going into the uncomfortable thing that even if it goes sideways, you know what you'll do next.

That's what makes the difference between leaving the workshop with good intentions, and actually doing the thing.

It's practical, a bit revealing, and occasionally uncomfortably recognisable.

Works for founders, leaders, managers and mixed groups.

Forward From Here (Half day workshop)

Meet Your Ministry helps people recognise what's getting in the way.

Forward From Here is where we do something about it.

This is a face-to-face, scenario-based half-day workshop designed for leaders and managers who want to move beyond awareness and into practical tools they can actually use.

Working through real organisational challenges, difficult conversations, performance, change, delegation, participants learn to identify which Ministry members are activated in any given moment, what that person might be protecting, and how to respond in a way that creates movement rather than more resistance.

The goal isn't to psychoanalyse your team. It's to give leaders a practical framework they can reach for in the moment, when a conversation isn't landing, when a team member keeps stalling, or when they notice their own Ministry starting to chair the meeting.

Bespoke programmes

Every organisation is different. The conversations that matter in one place aren't always the ones that matter in another.

Beyond the workshops, I work with organisations on a range of bespoke programmes depending on what's needed. That might include:

Training leaders and managers in how to have effective change conversations and understanding where someone is in their readiness to change and how to adapt accordingly, rather than pushing harder and wondering why nothing shifts.

Bringing solution-focused practice into team meetings and organisational culture, giving people a shared framework for forward-focused conversations, clearer vision and better ways of working through problems without getting stuck in them.

Supporting organisations through growth or change, not managing the change, but helping the people leading it understand what's showing up and how to keep things moving.

Coaching for individual leaders alongside any programme, whether that's regular sessions, ad hoc support, or something more sustained.

If you're not sure which would be most useful, the best place to start is a conversation about what's actually getting in the way.
