Coaching
Sometimes we know exactly what needs to happen... we just don't seem to be doing it:
Most people who come to me aren't stuck because they don't know what to do, they are stuck because they can't quite seem to make themselves do it.
They've been circling the same move for weeks, sometimes months. They know what needs to happen, they've known for a while, and they're quietly frustrated with themselves that they still haven't just... done it.
Often, something is getting in the way that hasn't been named, that's where The Ministry of Not Yet comes in. We all have an internal cast of characters that show up when something important is about to happen. They're not villains, they started as protection, but sometimes they end up running the show.
We work with the Ministry, the goal isn't to get rid of them, it's to understand them well enough that they stop making the decisions on your behalf.
The Perfectionist who won't let you hit publish becomes the Finisher who knows when good enough is good enough.
The Procrastinator who keeps rescheduling the thing that matters most becomes the Initiator who gets it started.
The Keeper who holds onto every responsibility becomes the Multiplier who builds the people around them.
What we actually do
We start with the move you're trying to make and what's making it feel harder than it needs to.
From there we look at what's already working, what's getting in the way, which of your Ministry might be involved, and what the next useful step actually looks like.
Sometimes that step is smaller than you'd expect. Sometimes it's a conversation that's been waiting six months to happen. Sometimes it's a decision that just needs someone to help you think it through clearly.
I ask a lot of questions. I use a lot of silence. I'm not here to tell you what to do, I'm here to help you work out what you already know.
What Coaching Can Help With
This is often where stuckness shows up.
- Stepping into leadership
- Making difficult decisions
- Building confidence and visibility
- Navigating change and uncertainty
- Delegating and letting go of control
- Difficult conversations
- Breaking unhelpful patterns
- Moving from overthinking into action
- That persistent feeling that something important isn't moving
A Quick Note
This probably isn't for you if you're looking for someone to tell you exactly what to do.
Most of the people I work with already know what matters and feel stuck because something is making the move feel harder than it needs to. That's what we'll explore together.
Make the Move Package
For the conversation, decision or change that keeps not quite happening.
A focused three-session coaching package for founders, business owners and leaders who know something needs to move forward but aren't quite making it happen.
Together we'll explore what's getting in the way, what you're hoping for instead and the practical steps that create momentum.
Because sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing what to do.
It's doing it.
Forward Sessions
Ongoing coaching for founders, business owners and leaders who want continued support, challenge and clarity as they navigate growth, change and new opportunities.
Because moving forward isn't a one-off event. It's an ongoing process.
Neville had known for years that he wanted to move his business abroad, but one decision kept sitting there unresolved. Every time he got close to moving it forward, something pulled him back. He knew what information he needed but felt like he'd be asking too much, like he was being pushy. In one session we slowed down enough to see what was actually happening underneath. He left having drafted the message he needed to send, the one that would help him finally decide whether this was the right move. The next day he sent it.
"You helped me choose just one thing without feeling like I'm disappearing or I don't matter. I feel a lot less heavy. A lot more focused"
Neville, Founder
Sadiah came to me mid-rebrand with a team pulling in different directions. Everyone had ideas, some wanted to keep things as they were, and opening the floor to the group wasn't getting anyone anywhere. What felt difficult was being directive, taking the lead rather than asking the team to generate ideas first. In the session she realised that presenting her own clear ideas to the team for their input, rather than starting with a blank page brainstorm, was both the more effective approach and the one she actually had the confidence to lead.
"I have actionable steps. You encouraged me to narrow it down to just one thing, and that one thing feels pivotal for everything else."
Sadiah, Founder
